I cancelled my debit order with Nashua Mobile in September 2013 and since then they are still trying to let the debit order go off. I closed the bank account and they didn't want to change the debit order on the phone so I cancelled it and I pay every month via EFT on time.
Every month they suspend my account saying that I owe them R72 for the debit order that didn't go off. I just spoke to someone there again and the lady said that my debit order was cancelled on 3 November only and that I still owe them R72!
I don't think I have to keep on paying that money as I pay my EFT in time so I don't see why I should pay a penalty for them not doing their job!
