Vodacom
PHONE SALES WITHOUT CUSTOMER CONSENT

Called Vodacom-26.11.13 to cancel my contract, was advised that a Samsung S4 was taken on my name.
& the phone was delivered to an address in Jhb regardless of the fact that I am residing in Durban & didnt receive such.
Was told to do an affadavit & fax it to Thabo & Linda, which I had done -30.11.13
Called again on the 04.12.13 was advised to deal directly with the forensics department.
I do not use the contract number so I advised that feedback should be directed to my personal number which I had given.
Spoke to Vanessa williams (18.12.13) who advised that the investigation was stopped as my ID wasn't loaded on the system, she also stated that employees of Vodacom were under investigation for taking contracts on customers names.
04.01.14 called again to follow up was advised that the person dealing with my case was on leave & would get back to me on the 06.01.14 which hadnt happened.
03.1.14 received statement from vodacom that I must pay R4149.03

I am really frustrated at how incompetent Vodacom is, despite the fact that they have loose controls over issuing contracts without relevant signatories. They have the audacity to bill me & not inform of progress of the case
