VODACOM I am NOT HAPPY

Registered for Vodacom contract in December requesting my number be ported to Vodacom. 2 days my phone was delivered with a new sim card and a new number ws activated. I reported the error to Vodacom and was advised that I continue to use the new number on my new phone while waiting for the other sim card be delivered. Eventually got a sim card I called Vodacom and was informed that I will receive an sms to notify of activation. I insured my phone through Vodacom Insure. After a few days the number was still not activated. I reported this matter and was told the activation will take up to 5 hours. That never happened. The next 2 days I was travelling long distance and was unable to call Vodacom and advise as I happened to have a MTN sim card. On the Monday I was mugged on holiday. Went to Vodacom, blocked the phone which was strange as I was told that they don't have my contract details on the system. I had to fill out forms where they were faxed to Vodacom. Handed case number to process claim which was declined because I never used the sim card on the phone yet the number was not activated by Vodacom. paying for a phone I dont have and insurance that won't assist
