Autopage
Ripped off

My MTN Anytime 500 contract with Autopage was due for renewal in Dec 2013. I asked whether the Anytime 500 was the best option based on my actual usage, and was told that I had a credit of R2995, which meant I did not utilise the contract and that the Anytime 200 would suit me much better. Then I was informed that I would lose the credit when I downgrade. The credit was created by funds they received for services I have not made use of yet, why should I lose it if I remain with Autopage and MTN? Stacey suggested I phone MTN, which I did, to be told that it is an Autopage contract, I had to speak to Autopage! I then phoned Autopage Head Office and was told that it depends on MTN to carry over the credit. Then I phoned MTN who explained that the Service Provider, Autopage, had to decide! This explanation made sense, but they will not carry over the credit! Wrong advice 2 years ago means that the customer loses!
