Very unhappy new client

To whom it may concern,

I recently obtained a new 8ta/Telkom mobile contract (03/01/2014)..So sorry I ever did!!.My device has a error message stating "No Service - selected network (8.ta) unavailable" Rebooted the device but still has the same message?? Why am I going to pay R269.00 for no service? I can't even contact 8ta from my device..the 180 number. And this is not even 5 days into the contract..I am actually very dissapointed..I contacted a telkom mobile store in Pta (thats the only store that answers their phone - tried alberton and benoni REPEATEDLY!! - no answer)..And the staff person had no idea what he was talking about said I should do a sim swap?? The contracts 5 days old??..And I am not paying a blue cent for a sim swap!! Its not my fault the device 8ta/telkom mobile sent me does not work or the sim card?!! Common Guys??
