I've taken out a new contract in October 2013 on a Smart S package. On taking the the contract i was promised by the sales rep that I will receive 1 Gig of data (Free) every month. For the 1st month i was Invoiced over R 2000 for data usage. When i called Vodacom to query this they stated that i was charged out of bundle charges at the normal R 2 per meg - which by looking at the total charge works out to a little over 1 Gig of data usage (Which should have been the data promised to me on taking out the contract). What i would like to know is why this data was never activated on my line (Even though call centre agents/sale agents confirmed that it should have been according to what they see on their system) and why am I still being charged for that data usage??? Once the issue is sorted out - Will i be refunded as I see that the same thing seems to be happening again...
