Incompetent Call Centre

I have been trying to upgrade to my cell contract since I went on holiday in December. The first agent I spoke to could not advise me what options are available to add a data bundle to the contract and how much it would cost. She first put me on hold forever and then said she will call me back. I am still waiting. I contacted the call centre again on 3 January to follow up. Another agent then informed me that I could add a data bundle of 1GB for R69 on a monthly contract or as and when required. Great so I chose a plan and was very excited to get my new phone. However when my husband enquired at a vodacom store about his upgrade, they were not aware of the R69 data bundle option. I called again today to verify the information and was told that is incorrect. I then decided that is it, I want to cancel everything and rather go to another service provider, I was told that I need to call a different number for the cancellations dept. When I called them they said that the upgrade dept first has to reverse the upgrade. Called them back again, they said the admin dept needs to do it but the lady is onl leave untill 13 Jan. Absolutely pathetic customer service!
