Over a month ago telkom lines were disrupted and connection was lost, the connection was then restored at a very bad speed, I have logged several calls with mweb and telkom over this period in attempt to restore my connection to a satisfactory rate, I have dealt with several Mweb Consultants and telkom technicians over this period but this has still not been resolved to date. I am paying R899 pm for a 4MB unthrottled line, the line speed is terrible, a ping test today was 484ms - (10ms/12ms is an acceptable level for the speed I pay for), that is the worst in the period so far, some tests don't even complete. Allison was the last manager that I have spoken to, some time last week. I have been referred from MWEB to Telkom, then back to MWEB and now it seems like it is TELKOM again, at the end of the day, whether this is a Telkom / Mweb issue, I pay MWEB for this service, and this should have been resolved by now, as an entire billing period has passed.
