Vodacom
Unautorised SIM Card Swop is costing us R250000

On 4 January 2013 I was approached on my cell phone by an unknown man who stated that he was from Vodacom, that he was working on Vodacom systems and that we should ignore sms's which comes from Vodacom. We were suspicious, and because we are not always in an area with Vodacom reception, we immediately, at 14h29 called Vodacom at 082111 and reported the incident and gave the employee an instruction not to allow any SIMCard swops on our cellphone. It was confirmed that the instruction was logged. The employee ensured us that she gave the instruction to the "back office" and that no SIM card swop would be allowed.

On 16 January 2013 at about 09h00 we became aware that a SIM Card swop did in fact took place despite and against our instructions and that because of that we became the victims of internet to the amount of R250 000! The was immediately reported to Vodacom who would have investigated the matter.

It is now 3 weeks later and despite my enquiries I get no feedback-as a matter of fact, it seems as if my e-mails are not even being read!

Vodacom is direct responsible for my loss and should refund me in full plus all related expences!
