To whom this may concern
I visited the MTN store on 20 December 2013 and was appalled at how the manager speaks to clients.
As I was speaking to Thando (the man who had been helping me with my insurance claim), Ryno Smit (who was said to be the manager) interjected the conversation and spoke to me like I was not a paying customer. He was rude, condescending and vile. You'd swear he was just a trainee the way he spoke to a customer and worst of all is that he did this in front of other customers (who approached me and advised me to complain about the issue). I have never had any person in service speak to me in that manner and not even back down or apologise.
I admit that I may have been upset but my anger was not directed at him nor was it directed at Thando but rather I was venting my frustrations about the insurance company that was recommended by the store. His interruption, attitude and tone were all unnecessary and his help was not requested which makes it even worse. The least he could have done was apologise but he also failed to do that.
I do not believe anyone, especially in service should behave in the manner that he did.
