My Nokia E7 cellphone started giving problems since April 2013. The phone did not always charge, only certain times due to a loose connection on the USB input socket/port. I took the phone in for repairs at Autopage. They returned the phone stating it cannot be repaired due to water damage (job card R367407). The phone is still under warranty and I have ten months remaining on this contract and cannot even use the phone.
I took the cellphone to AQ Cellular for a second opinion. They could NOT find any trace of water damage, only that the USB port was faulty. AQ Cellular charged me R910 to repair the port and the phone is now working 100% after repairs.
I requested a refund from Autopage for the amount of R910 as no evidence of water damage could be found and the phone could indeed be repaired. I also suggested a replacement phone to be supplied. I have never received any response from Autopage regarding this matter since the last communication on 07 November 2013. I am very disappointed in the lack of service received from Altech Autopage regarding this matter.
