R4000 data bill with R50 softba

In early 2013 I got a large data bill on one of my accounts with Autopage. After many calls to Autopage it was suggested by them that I set up the My Limit service and add a data bundle (I always had a data bundle on this line, so I have no idea why it was cancelled in the first place). I said fine, please add the bundle, then I activated My Limit with a softbar of R50 per month. Over the past month or so I have somehow racked up over R4000 in data bills. The bundle was never activated and the softbar does not work at all! When I call Autopage they just say "the limit service is not guaranteed to be accurate". However, they suggested I use the service in the first place, and it's not inaccurate, it's totally non-functional: my current balance is R2977 and my limit is still R50!
