I have Mweb DSL and are also my ISP. I have a 4meg uncapped service from them. I live in Constantia ara in the WC and pay web R899 per month for DSL and ISP.
I reported extremely slow internet to them 4 weeks ago and despite multiple calls back to them and numerous speed tests and emails my internet is worse than ever. However I continue to pay them R899 per month.
Mweb told me today that it is congestion on the Telkom exchange and lots of other customers affected by this in my area. However they can only request Telkom to upgrade the exchange and this could take months depending on Telkom busget.
However Mweb is my ISP and DSL SP - pathetic service from Mweb and Telkom.
