I recently got a Sony Xperia Z. I got a cover for the cell to keep it safe. Long story short when I took my cell out the cover there was a long crack down the back of the phone which at first you think is just a scratch on the plastic sheet but when I looked closer you could see the crack looks like it was coming from the inside out. I will be honest I have not dropped my phone so this is not a crack from damage caused by myself. It is clearly from the inside out. I had noticed prior to this how the phone would get extremely hot on the back like the battery was heating up but thought not much of it as there where no other issues. I decided to do some investigation into this and imagine my shock and surprise when I learn that I am not the first this has happened to. There is an entire page on the net of people with the same issue. I was also shocked to learn that the back of the phone is actually glass and that in fact this could be a fault on sony, as they have made no allowance for the battery which heats up to be cooled down and throw a glass back into the mix what do you have. MTN where I got the phone wont cover it and tell me to go to SONY direct. I did and no response
