Conned inside shop lost my phone

Hi walked into the Vodacom shop at Carnivall Mall at 13h45 and was offered assistance by a man who was standing next to the counter in full view of everyone in the shop and I asked him if he worked there because I noticed that all the staff members were not in uniform. He said he was a support technician and I explained that I brought my i-phone in due to network issues. He said it will take 45 minute to get it sorted so I can either wait inside the shop or come back later. I opted to return later, and when I came back at 14h30 the same guy said it will take another 10 minutes because the system is slow I must come back later again. When I returned Alicia was confused when I said I'm here to collect my phone, and it turns out that the guy who assisted me is a sacm artist. All the staff that was there saw him and apparently he was there for 2 hours but he told them that he was waiting for his wife to bring his ID so that he can apply for a contract. I felt disappointed that I was in full view of other staff, none of which were wearing uniform which makes it unsafe and vulnerable for customers, especially when there is no camera in the store. My phone is gone!
