I have received a sms today from MBD INC. saying that my Cell C account "which was payed in full and recycled" was handed over to them by Cell C. last year another debt collection company contacted me with the same story and after the person re-checked his records he confirmed that i made a final payment 2 years earlier and my cell phone number has been recycled and he will sort it out with Cell C.
please can someone assist in sorting this problem out as my account is paid in full and was not used by myself in over 3 years.
