As requested by my ISP, I am trying to move the rental of my adsl account from Telkom to my ISP.
My ISP first contacted Telkom early/mid November, eventually Telkom said they could not move the account as "circuit was with another provider". I then phoned Telkom help desk - they confirmed there was no reason why the ADSL could not be transferred as there were no contracts on the account, but asked me to write a letter to them requesting the transfer. ISP contacted Telkom again - Telkom again declined to do the transfer (21 November 13). I sent another letter to Telkom explaining that the TI AllAccess data package needed to be cancelled (22 Nov 13) (Why did the help desk not tell me that initially?!). I re-sent the mail to Telkom on 26 Nov 13. Still no reply!! I have also phoned Telkom again - holding for half an hour. No reply. No action. Ridiculous. It is now 3 December - almost 3 weeks since the first contact!
