I am tired of the incompetence of staff at the call center that can't answer my questions.
I request for my balance on almost a daily basis by dialing *188#. The following are the messages I have received, but now I no longer receive the 'Telkom mobile and landline calls' and according to the Telkom agent, it is because I was never suppose to get the 500 minutes which I signed up for, it was their mistake.
- Networks Data Available
- Telkom mobile to Telkom mobile and landline calls.
- Minutes available
- Wifi for the month
So how can my contract be changed after I signed up for something different and why does Telkom first bill me and take my money, then afterwards they send a bill but it contains no details for what they are billing me, just numbers what I must pay for. No itemised billing is received and numerous requests have been made for this to be sent to me prior to my account being debited.
Just to add to all of this, I eventually did get an account from an agent and luckily I went through it thoroughly to find that Telkom has been charging me almost R60 per month for some Blackberry service on my iPhone account.
I have been shocked by Telkom Mobile service!!
