I got a Sony Xperia Z, had the phone now for about 6 months and when I took it out of my pocket the other day it had a cracked screen. The phone didn't fall and nothing happened to cause this. Now I find out that this is a common problem with the Experia Z.
Vodacom wants to send it in to Johannesburg from Cape Town because they say that only Sony can install a new screen and it costs about R4000, apparently. I can't believe that a supplier can make money off customers for a problem that is clearly a design flaw. I've always supported sony products because I thought they were good but I will never support them again. This is unacceptable!
