I had a 3G mobile data bundle with 8ta, and most of the time I had bad network connection, and I hope I could remedied it with a 3g antenna. Internet connection works fine some times but I can't use any voice service like skype because the connection is horrible when used it with skype. I can barely communicate with skype until I got tired of the network and decided to cancel the service. I went to 8ta, Menlyn branch to cancel the service, the consultant gave me a form which I filled, but he did not mention or warn me of any penalty. Even though I already got charged for the month and I wrote in the form for the service to be discontinued at month end, surprisingly it was discontinued within 24hrs of completing the form. I kept quiet on that and few days later I got a sms notification on impending charges, I went to 8ta at Menlyn and inquired about the sms I got, they told me that everything is fine, that the service has been canceled and those charges will be waived. 2 months later my account was Naido (charged) R915.00, even after they said nothing will be charged, I went to 8ta to complain but to no good, they said it was the cancellation fee. They deceived me, so disgusted.
