Terrible service and unable to cancel account

I had a mobile contract for the past 4 years with Virgin, but did not want to renew this, since I opened up a contract at a different service provider. I phoned the call centre to cancel as my contract term was coming to a close. The girl who'm I spoked to confirmed that this was done. A week before my contract expired I went into the Canal Walk Branch to check whether it has in fact been cancelled and nothing was cancelled. The casual in store said he would speak to the manager the next day and phone me back. I heard nothing. Phoned the store, the manager knows about it and after explaining my problem said he would sort it out for me and phone me back. I heard nothing from him again. Phoned in again and spoke to a lady, who said she cancelled it for me, when my last payment would be etc. Ive been in email correspondence to the cancellation dpt. after that who confirmed it has been confirmed (after having to send a nasty email first) but this month, still my account is being debited with the amount. This has been absolutely shocking service from this establishment, and I need an urgent apology, explanation and a credit of the amount that was wrongfully debited. Pathetic service
