I called Virgin Mobile on 19 July 2013, and informed the call centre agent that I wished to cancel my contract. I requested a fax number or address for my cancellation letter, but was told that it would not be necessary to do this in writing. I further requested that the number be converted to prepaid. The agent told me that this would be done on 19 August 2013. I called again after still being debited in September, then in October and was assured that this would be the very last debit order! However, I was debited again on 1 November, where after I complained via the Virgin Mobile website contact form, but did not received any response. I have just received notification of yet another debit order today, 30 November!!! I will be instructing my bank that these debit orders be reversed and to block any further debit orders to Virgin Mobile, I do not want this contract!!! I must add that I fullfilled my 2 year contract period so did not owe Virgin Mobile any money for cancelling. Shoddy service indeed!
