I upgraded from my Blackberry Talk 100 contract in June 2014 to a non-blackberry contract using an HTC one phone. I only checked into the details of my bill this month and noticed that Vodacom have been charging me R59 per month for my blackberry BIS service. Surely when you upgrade to a non-blackberry contract, and paying separately for data bundles, I wouldn't need to still pay for a blackberry internet service subscription? Furthermore, when I called the billing department, they said that the BIS service was an elective service that I chose over and above my blackberry talk 100 contract, and thus it continued after my upgrade and I would not be refunded for it. Surely a contract named "Blackberry talk 100" implies that a blackberry BIS service is included in the contract? Or is vodacom purposefully misleading potential customers? Please sort this mess out and refund me the amount that is due to me.
