I bought a 3G WI-FI modem 2 weeks ago and it only picked up 2G. The SIM card however picks up 3G in all other devices. I took the device back to the Telkom branch in Rosebank and told them that it does not work optimally. I was told that in order to get my refund i need to contact the call centre, get them to come out to my house and test it. I have been calling the call centre daily and everyday i am told that the issue is being escalated and someone will call me. i have had no feedback for the past week.
In the current day and age where CPA plays a major role in protecting the customer, Telkom tries to make the life of customers more difficult even though they say that they are trying their best to service the customers. I have wasted money and time calling daily and absolutely disgusted at the service that i get. This issue has still not been resolved. I have tried countless times to call Rosebank Telkom and no one answers.
