I recently took a upgrade and was happy to port my cell c number into the Telkom network which they said it will take 2-3 days. After a week i saw that my Cell C number got disconnected but they assured me my Telkom contract will be on my Cell C number, WHICH DID NOT HAPPEND!!!
I called the 8ta call centre and they said the porting was not through and i was upset. I then decided to cancel the number porting as i desperately needed my Cell C number active. Order for port cancellation was 43159559A. They lady confirmed twice the porting will be canceled as per ref.
I called yesterday and guess what they said? Your number port was successful and the cell c number is into the Telkom mobile network. What was the port cancel ref then for??? A pizza order delivery...
I am still active on the Telkom mobile number but i need my cell c number for heaven's sake!! All my friends, family, insurance, policies etc have my cell c number which i NEED!
