Telkom Mobile's customer service is the worst

I took out a cell phone contract with Telkom Mobile Fourways Crossing. My phone for two months wouldn't send SMSs and every time I tried to sort it out, I was given a reference number and nobody ever got back to me. After a lot of throwing of tantrums, it was sorted. It turns out the SIM was faulty (It took two months to find this out).

Then on the contract that I am on, I was told I could make Telkom (landline numbers) calls for free and now I am being told actually I can't.

Then there is the call centre agents and it seems everybody who works at Telkom's bad attitude and not knowing how to speak to clients. I can honestly say I have never had a pleasant experience with these guys except for the day I got the contract.

They really need to get out of the Government parastatal mentality.
