Online upgrade unpleasant experience

I entered my details to receive information regarding the iphone 5s release. I received a call last week from Vodacom Online Sales to do this upgrade, fortunately I was with my father, who is the account holder, and we were able to do the upgrade on the phone Wednesday evening. The Vodacom lady I was dealing with then told me that I would receive the phone Friday (15 November). I promise that was not kept. So I keep waiting - impatiently - for my phone.

This same Vodacom woman we were speaking to told me I could receive the phone as long as I have a copy of my father's ID, my ID, proof of residence as well as a letter from my father giving me permission that I may sign to collect the phone. Now, the courier company contacted me and they are adamant that my father has to sign for it.

Also this morning I tried to do an upgrade online for my data contract, I entered my father's ID number and the data phone number, I press "Continue" and absolutely nothing happens.

Obviously you created all the "easy" ways to upgrade online and have things delivered to a persons door for convenience, but I find it worse than spending more than an hour at a Vodacom Outlet
