I have been trying since September 2013 to enter into a payment arrangement with Cell C. Reference number is 3090700182. Finally almost at the end of October Munya from Cell C contacts me and says I must pay R 3000 on my one outstanding account. I sent a email on 4/11/2013 requesting a lower payment arrangement and stated in the email that I am willing to provide proof of my financial situation to motivate the lower payments. on 11/11/13 he phones me says that I need to settle my debt over 8 months and Cell C wont accept a lower arrangement. Maybe the Cell C attorneys will., was his words to me. I feel that Cell C is very unreasonable but if i have to pay my debt over 8 months i won't have money for transport or to pay my rent. Clearly Munya is trying to reach his collection target! I have now logged a complaint with The Credit Ombudsman in order to try and resolve this issue (ref CIO/131113/19000)
