Unexplained Debit Notre

After checking my bank statement I noticed that my account had been debited R3697.72. My average account is usually about R550.00. After never receiving a statement, once again, I registered online to check my account. This is where I picked up the unexplained debit note for R2964.74. I phoned the general call centre just to be told they are sorry but I will have to wait as they can't access the details. I phoned again 2 days later just to be told the same thing. I fail to believe in this day and age that nobody at the call centre can tell you what it is for. The answer every time is that someone will call you. Well I still await the call. What would happen if it was someone who lived on a tight budget and other debit orders were rejected because of this large debit. Well I will attempt to call again today. I have been with Virgin for many years and am thankful that this is the first incident regarding billing. I will however will not be renewing my contract as the service has been shocking.
