Worst experience

On 23 October I went to the Menlyn branch of Telkom Mobile to apply for the iphone contract. The lady said the system was down and she would contact me within 24 hours to notify me whether it was approved or not. A day passed and I heard nothing. On Friday I contacted them after which I was told my application was not on the system. Late in the afternoon the store phoned me and I was told I had been approved. I was excited and thought I'd have my iphone by next Friday (1 November). WRONG. I contacted the store several times and was told every time that they were waiting for the phones. No one could tell me when it was expected. Friday I phoned customer care and was told that the system does not show approval or that the phone had been ordered. After phoning the store AGAIN the lady told me that if I was in such a hurry to get the phone I MUST GO TO ANOTHER PROVIDER. I contacted telkom on twitter and was told there's no application for me and I'd have to "visit the store and find out when they'll be able to do the application for me". The application should have been done already. MTN/Vodacom is much much better. Do not go with Telkom. WORST EXPERIENCE ever. I want to cancel my app.
