I have been receiving unsolicited promotional sms's from Cell C, which i then requested Cell C via call centre 3 times to stop sending me these sms but despite my attempts they have been sending them anyway. I have 3 case numbers in this regard 3101503776, 3101802197, 3103102250. What upsets and annoys me is that every time i contact Call Centre and they tell me that they will escalate my complaint and get Head Office to contact me and also INVESTIGATE why despite their system indicating that they have stopped sending me these promotional sms I still receive them, I get a dismissive sms that I should simply sms STOP to a given number, I dont understand this since i did not initiate or enter any competition so why should i sms STOP? Twice I was reassured by Call Centre consultants that I must wait a day or so I wont get such sms's again. So my request still stands, PLEASE STOP SENDING ME PROMOTIONAL SMS OF WHATEVER SORT.
