I'm trying to pay up my contract with Cell C and terminate it, as I do not have signal and cannot use your service. I spoke a call centre agent last week who said he would mail me the details for the account to be paid in, etc. I now have your Nedbank account details and the amount payable. However, it is stated that I need to add my CONTRACT number as the reference, not the CONTACT (i.e. my cell number).
I cannot find a contract number. I've gone through all my paperwork. On my original contract, there is a number: 011 560 15. That is the closest I can see to anything that resembles a contract number. I would have thought the number should appear on my statements.
I do not get a paper statement, so I tried to log onto My Cell C to access the information. Nowhere on the site do you have ANY information for me -- billing history, payment history, etc, and I am a registered member. So, I cannot pay the amount to lodge the cancellation request.
Please confirm my contract number, so that I can make the payment. Also confirm that the contract number, not ID or cell number, should be used as a reference. Please do so via email; I do not have signal in the Cape Town CBD. Thank you.
