I took a contract phone on the 14/10/2013, when I got the phone it could not read the sim. I called MTN to make them aware about this 2 days after getting the phone. I was told to restart the phone which I did but it did not work. Then I was advised to take the phone to the nearest MTN, which I did the very same day (16/10/2013). They booked the phone for warranty .. I was told to phone the next day in the afternoon to check on the status, which I did. I was told that it has been approved COL0031052612 was advised to call Chris to arrange for a new cell. I called Christopher but up to date he doesn't seem me be interested. A debit order is going off tonight for this contract and I don't even have the phone. MTN what am I paying for?? when I phone the 011 9213000 number nobody is willing to assist. I have asked to be put to cancellation department so that I can cancel this contract but they could not help me. I was told to speak to Christopher but I cant get hold of him. I have left message for him to call and he doesn't how long does it take to get a respond from your sales people. Monday 28/10 I spoke to Naydene Emanuel, she sent a mail to Chris & cc me on it. Still waiting. PLEASE HELP.
