I had a problem with my sim card on Sunday, there was an error message stating that sim registration failed. My wife called 111 using 0828671827, the time was between 11 and 1pm. She spoke to Queen who confirm the was a sim swap that was done @ 07:49. I did not do any sim swap and we insisted to speak to the Team leader. The guy by the name of Sandile took over the call. We were told that they will cancel the sim swap that done and we need to buy a sim card for sim swap, the told us the line had been block and the card wont work. My wife asked Queen to explain why the line was ringing even thou it was blocked, she could explain that to us. We were assured that the sim card wont work and they have flagged the number as a swap. The Team leader promised to call us back at 2pm to do sim card. Queen called us to do a sim swap and advice d us to switch of the phone and swicth it back on after 3 hours. The swap was not successful. On the 28/10 the sms was send to my contact requesting money to be transferred as I was arrested. If Vodacom blocked the sim as requested, this could have been avoided.
