Online Upgrades NOT free as advertised

I received a sms and e-mail notification that I can now upgrade my phone. The e-mail advertised that if I do this online it would be free. I followed the link provided in the e-mail, received a reference number and thought wonderful, wrong nightmare. The first reference number did not show on their system so vodacom told me to log it again online, which I did. I then got charged for the upgrade, they also sent two phones, since last week I have been trying to get feedback from them. I have reference number for the call logged, still no one has phoned. My bill just seems to go up to the point now where I am not going to use my phone as I am to scared due to the high billing. I really wished I did not do the upgrade as it is really costing me now. They refuse to assist over the phone for everything I have to pay to get information. Vodacom is expensive and not customer focused at all. I am really really sorry that I did the upgrade and really wished that I could cancel the whole contract with them.
