Telkom Mobile LTE poor customer experience

I bought the new 20G per month Telkom LTE package about a week ago and it was finally delivered yesterday. Its been over 24 hours since I received my Huawei LTE Wi-fi router and plugged in the SIM and still not connectivity. Ive called the call centre, gone into a Telkom mobile office and neither my SIM nor my ID number appear on their system.

I was told that nothing can be done - I have to wait till Monday... After committing to 36 months of payments at R699... Im now stuck with a dead router and no idea what to do next. #epic fail Telkom
