Problems with Contract Upgrade

MTN continuously called me to inform me that I can upgrade my phone. I declined the offer, but they kept calling, so eventually I upgraded over the phone, and was told the phone would be delivered.

The delivery took place, but without the mikro sim card I needed for the new phone. I called and emailed MTN to inform them of the problem and got mixed messages. According to most of your customer services representatives, I was suppose to receive the sim card with the phone delivery. I also received the following email from [Email Removed] Please be advised that upgrade does not come with sim cards, in this case you are advised to do simswop at any MTN store's.

I could not resolve the issue over the phone and had to go to a branch to buy a sim card. WHAT IS THE POINT OF DELIVERING MY PHONE IF I HAVE TO COLLECT THE SIM CARD?

Since doing the sim swop yesterday, both my old and new sim card is not working. I now don't have a phone. I called MTN from my phone at work, but keeps getting transfered to the next person, getting no valuable information from anyone. They also insist that I give a cell phone number for calling me back. MY CELLPHONE IS NOT WORKING.
