My mother was phoned 2 years ago was offered a "good deal" which consisted of 2 cell phones on contract, this was done telephonically no documents was given 2 her 2 read or 2 sign. She was told "telephonically" the contract will end April 2013. 1 was "Top Up" the other was an "Open Contract". Payments were late because she's unemployed. THEY SOLD A CONTRACT CELL PHONE DEAL TO SOMEONE THAT'S UNEMPLOYED?? April 2013 she phoned 2 cancel and convert 2 pre-paid, was told 2 send a cancellation email 2 cancellations dept. which she did because 2 her knowledge the contract ended, she never received proof that it was cancelled. May 2013 sent "airtime" AGAIN after it was cancelled, she used it was given a balance of R450 which she paid. BOTH PHONES R OFF Tuesday she got an sms on my dad's phone: U HANDED OVER 4 COLLECTION "like really? " phoned 16/10/2013 was told 2 phn 2day 4 LEGAL Dep. I did. My mom does not have a phn I phoned 4 a breakdown I was told "I'M A THIRDPARTY" she cant give me any info. "REALLY"? I'm so irritated right now.By the way they can only pick up 1 phn num on the system? How's it possible? U GUYS ARE RIPPING OLD PEOPLE OFF! I'm not paying WHAT R U BILLING US 4???
