We contacted Vodacom legal department to establish the process on how to transfer my deceased farthers phone line into my mothers name. Call centre agent requested the number which we gave but assured us the service will not be cut and then informed us we needed to fax the death certificate to them and then they will guide us through the process to transfer the account.. We informed them that it was not yet issued. Without receiving any evidence other than a phone call they suspended the line within hours leaving my mother unable to contact her family the day before the funeral.
