Sim swap not done

I lost my phone and received a new one at Nashua mobile. When I put in the sim card it said that it was not registered. I went to MTN and they said it would take up to 24 hrs. After 24hrs I called Nashua mobile and they also said it would take up to 24hrs. I told them that 24hrs had already passed and they said that the credit department still had to approve the sim swap. I called the credit department and they also said it was out of their hands and it will take up to 24hrs! So my question... why give me a phone with a sim card that is not yet active and a sim swap that has not even been approved? It really is frustrating! And it has been almost 48hrs!
