Feb 2009, via telesales a cell c contract was offered to me, which I accepted. July 2009 my husband passed away, and Aug 2009 I'm unemployed. Phoned cell c customer care, was told to write a cancellation letter. Oct 09 faxed letter for cancellation, handset was collected and contract cancelled. June 2013 sms from Pholosa I've been handed over, phoned them, explained and on their advise phone legal dept at cell c, to no avail. Sept 2013 sms from JM attorn, arrear acc been handed over. Phone Cell c, ask for a manager. Mr Nelson Maunda answer call, give his mail instead with assurance will forward to a manager. Was very helpfull at 1st, but became quite rude with further questions from me. More than 3 yrs no correspondence whatsoever from Cell c for arrears acc, contract was cancelled? 1 day after correspondence with Nelson, a mail from cell c customer care, " contract being handed over to Pholosa, due to non cancellation when contract expired". Last communication with Cellc was Dec 2009, contract was cancelled? Do they know what they doing? more than 3 yrs and not even a notice from cell c regarding so called arrears, handed over to 2 legals. This the way cell c make their money?
