Mira Networks
Unlawful Billing

I have now also been a victim of the Mira Networks whereby my Cell C account has been unlawfully debited since 1 August for R6.15 per day. Having read all the complaints on Hello Peter re Mira Networks conduct as a business, I have the following advice to other victims that are unlawfully debited by Mira Networks.

I suggest you lodge a formal complaint on the WASPA web site: [URL Removed]

Mira Networks could be fined up to R20, 000 for their misconduct.

At the same time also log a complaint against your service providor (Cell C, MTN, ect) on the ICASA web site: [URL Removed]

This will force your service provider and Mira Networks to respond within 2 weeks with proof that you requested the service for the unlawful billing. Do not just accept MIRA network copy of an welcome sms send, get you service provider or Mira networks to provide proof that you actually clicked on the link. Proof from an ISP or proof from your service provider that you accepted the sms.

Let's all work together to stop MIRA Networks from making unlawful debits. Every issue logged with the above organisations will help in our endeavour to stop this practise.
