I signed up for a Cell C contract about 6 weeks ago.
I was not told the reception in my area is really bad, otherwise I would NEVER have moved to Cell C. Within 10 days I called customer service to ask what my cancellation options were, who told me as I did not have a handset from Cell C, I could cancel the contract without incurring any charges and without having to do a network assessment. She advised that I go into the store and they would do it, and if there were any problems they could call Trade Partners.
The store told me this was incorrect, but because I had been told this by Customer Service, they would start the process and see what happened.
Well it has now been over a month, I have spoken to 3 different Supervisors in different departments, and my issue STILL has not been resolved. I have made countless phone calls, have taken time off work several times to go into the store to see if it was resolved, and am still not getting to the bottom of this.
I am SO unimpressed with Cell C's service!! Absolutely shocking.
