I purchased a 24H data bundle and activated it then proceeded to use my phone. When i checked the usage the next day MTN had charged me for all the downloads and internet usage for almost R900.

I called the call center on 23 August regarding my issue and the lady (Noki) assured me the error was indeed on their (Mtn) side and they will rectify it.

I called yesterday to follow up (because mtn does not do follow up calls to customers) and this agent says that they did issue a credit but billing did not update my account. She said she will escalate it and will call me back later. Of course this did not happen as promised because they are trained to and.

I called today (26 September) and i'm told that the accounts department still did not update my account and they can only rectify the matter with next month's account as the magtape goes on the 17th of the month. How is this my problem? I called over a month ago and Mtn still says they cannot reverse the transaction?

Pathetic and these people should be charged with.
