Vodacom
Winner of the most unprofessional award

Good day,

On 2013/09/25 at approx. 18:59, I called the Vodacom call centre and I spoke to a woman called Xoli. I proceeded to explain my problem that I bought R110 airtime earlier during the day and made one call with it, and when I recharged a few hours later with the R250, I noticed that I only had R44 left of my earlier recharge.

Instead of listening further she said "the airtime is not the problem, but it's you that went and bought an expensive phone without knowing how to use it", amongst other things in the most condescending attitude i've ever received! I asked her to apologise for her rudeness, I let the matter rest.

After ending the call, I tried to make a call and my sim card was blocked!! I called the call centre and spoke to lerato @ 19:13 and i was told that Xoli locked my sim, it was noted as my request! I asked for a manager and I spoke to Sabelo Gamede who told me that he saw my details written at the said consultant's desk and that he will follow it up. I want to bring this to your attention as this does not reflect well on Vodacom as a company.

If she can lock my sim at whim, what more can she do with my information available to her?
