Vodacom Call Centre: 082 178 44

On Tuesday night at 19:50, I called the Vodacom call centre (082 178 44) which closes at 20:00 to get more info on Vodacom contracts as I am (or rather was) considering moving from Cell C to Vodacom. The call Centre agent informed me they're having a problem with their system and would call me tomorrow. I gave my number and have yet to hear from them...

Today, 23 September 2013 at 17:15, I called the call center back to find out the above info and after a 1 minute wait of listening to random talking in the background like I was at a shopping center (extremely unprofessional naturally), a rude woman, who didn't even announce her name, says "Hello! " in the most rude, frustrated tone I have yet to hear at which point I lost the plot and admittedly did swear and she hung up on me.

I would very much appreciate an apology not just from Vodacom but the specific, unprofessional woman I spoke to but I am not so naive to expect that. My advice is don't waste your time with Vodacom's call centre as they are clearly hiring the simplest of people. Rather try make time to go into a shop and speak to a person face to face cause then they are a lot less likely to be rude.
