I gave in my cellphone for repairs two weeks ago. The last i heard from vodacom was on the 12th of September. Today i called and was told i have to pay 1700 for water damage on the keypad... The phone never fell in water or never have i spilled any water on the phone. Four or five buttons on the phone stopped functioning. The screen everything else was fine, it was only the 5 buttons that did not function. What a joke, 1700 for a phone that is not even worth 2300. I would understand if you asked me 1700 for a new phone. The phone is still under warranty!!! I know for certain no water ever touched that phone, and to fix 5 buttons for 1700 is absolutely ridiculous!!! What kind of service are you delivering? My ref number is 9177929. I tried calling various times this morning to confirm this amount. Nobody is answering on 0219142913 or on 0219142910. If you expect me to pay 1700 for 5 buttons, what does it cost to replace the phone that is worth 2300??? Please can i have some answers as nobody is willing to pick up the phone...
