I refer to the following fault reference numbers:
51CRK150913 and ARS 233 909
I have a 4meg line syncing at less than 900kbps... I reported the problem to the Telkom call centre who were unable to assist in rectifying the problem... the following actions followed:
- I opened a fault on 15/09/13 at 08:45...
- on 17/09/13 at 14:21 I received an SMS message informing me that the fault in in the hands of Telkom's technical repair division..
- I received an SMS on 18/09/13 at 08:06 advising me that the problem has been resolved..
When I arrived home on the afternoon of 18/09/13, I tested the line again and discovered that the problem was NOT resolved and now the modem has difficulty syncing... the line is still running way below its 4 meg capacity... again I called the call centre thinking it was something I had to do from my side... just to be informed that there is nothing they can do and it needs to be referred to the technical dept?
whereto from here.. the area I live in has a 10 meg capacity but not even able to get good performance on a 4 meg line??
