I upgraded my cellphone on vodacom direct, confirming twice with the call centre that it can be done, we received a new contract, this was on the 30th of July. We received a Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini and was told that this is now our new contract. We contacted vodacom several times on the 6th, 7th and 8th of August each time we were referred to a new number all said that there was a problem with their website we spoke to so many different call centre agents Thani, Giselle, Junita, Sesiwa etc. At last Michelle Deerans helped us. She send a mail to Bonita Parish and Adele Steenkamp. Our phone was collected with confirmation that the contract had been cancelled. So now I received an account for the so called cancelled contract on nr 0825671782. So it seems that Vodacom is instead of doing upgrades on the internet generating new contracts and unsuspected customers is taken for a ride.
