I reported my cell. Got a case nr and reported the incident at Vodacom in Vangate Mall. Was assisted by a consultant who then advised I will be liable for the excess of R300 to which I agreed, however my claim for a new cell is to the value of R5000. He then gave me the option of choosing a cell and then submitted the claim. Later I was advised the claim cannot be processed due to Vodacom Insurance Cover band but to my understanding I was told my insurance covers me for a cell to the value of R5000 and that's the proof (document) I have/got from Vodacom. Later Centriq sent all the consultants on an insurance product training session after I lodged my complaint with the Ombudsman. Still no outcome and still no claim yet they deducting BIS for a phone 3months down the line. Even telling me the case is closed. HOW PATHETIC
